Enjoy a mindful landscape while tending to your homemade garden. Grow, prune, and harvest flowers in a delightful game of logic, luck, and pattern recognition.

Thoughtfully balance probability and chance as flowers bloom at random. Test your skills and explore new strategies as you prune your garden to ensure it has no two of the same flower in any row, column, or quadrant. Master new challenges presented in each round as you watch your garden flourish!

Harvest as many points as you can in Quick Play or enjoy the more advanced Journal Play that rewards you for meeting certain criteria.

Can’t get enough? Anticipate each Weekly Challenge that introduces special flowers and tiles that change the gameplay. Celebrate holidays and other milestones with themed challenges and festive artwork to get you in the spirit of the season.

Primrows combines familiar mechanics in new and unexpected ways, offering a fresh and cozy gameplay experience. Refine and hone your strategy, while mastering your skills and enjoying an outdoor escape.

Primrows was originally created as an iOS game in 2010, and had a small but loyal player base. Unfortunately, the game was taken off the App Store due to Apple technology requirements back in 2017.  Rather than continuing to patch an older game to meet the bare minimums for technical compliance, the team saw the opportunities present in a fresh start. They were eager to apply the lessons learned over the past decade to create an all-new relaunch of their classic.

While the game’s general idea and basic mechanics are similar in DNA to the original, the team has added new game modes, beautifully whimsical and vibrant new art, and an ambient meditative soundscape to add polish and enhance the game experience, while evolving it into something new. 

Primrows accomplishes the goal of allowing the team to sharpen and hone their skills in a new genre of game dev (and multiplatform launches), while also creating a game that feels like a mindful, cozy, fresh escape. The team hopes you enjoy the whimsically mindful escape they’ve created.

Tursiops Truncatus Studios is a quirky, women-led, LGBT-owned independent game studio. We create games that challenge expectations, explore boundaries, and put the player first.

Raised on a well-rounded diet of nerd culture and fine arts, our passion is taking games as an art form to innovative new places. Our roots date back to the 90’s shareware game community and our creative nucleus came together on the roller derby track.

We use games as a means of creative expression. Exploring and experimenting with new mechanics and genre-bending ideas is our jam. We are a creative studio first and foremost, and a business only when we absolutely have to be (and even then, reluctantly). We’re grounded in creating games with an emphasis on thoughtful intention rather than production speed without feeding ourselves or our players to the bottom line.
